Established in 1964. In 1958 Bob Wark came to work at this location at the age of 18. Within 4 years he became the day shift manager and remained so for the next 3 years. In 1965 Bob left to open his own business in Swarthmore. After just 3 short years, business was rapidly growing and his location was too small. An opportunity arose to purchase the business here in Merion from his former employer in 1967. In 1986 the building had a major addition, expanding to 8 bays and a second floor to accommodate a waiting room and office space. Bob has kept his original customers and now repairs several generations of customers. Auto repair at Bob Wark's Liberty is a passion, just like our customer service.
