Built in 1906, the MBI Motors building has been home to only a handful of businesses. Since the early days, our building has housed mechanized transportation of some kind. If the walls could talk, there would be stories of selling and repairing Ford Motor-Coaches, Can Am Motorcycles, Skidoo Snow Machines and Mercedes-Benz automobiles. In 1969 an enthusiastic entrepreneur by the name of Sig Raethke opened the doors to MBI Motors. Sig took the initiative and his good business sense to a whole new level by starting one of the first and finest independent Mercedes-Benz repair facilities that remains in full operation today.
